Vertical shaft sand making machine is a pulverizer widely adopted in many sand and gravel plants in recent years. Thanks to the fine and uniform particle size after crushing, it is used as sand making equipment for sand production. This machine mainly adopts a through vertical shaft design with feeding from the top and discharging from the bottom, hence the name vertical shaft sand making machine.
The working principle of the vertical shaft sand making machine mainly relies on impact, crushing and friction of materials inside the high-speed rotating crushing cavity. Materials fall vertically through the feed inlet into the high-speed rotating crushing cavity of the vertical shaft sand maker. Under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, the materials collide at high speed with another batch of materials distributed around the rotor in an umbrella shape, completing primary crushing.
Afterwards, materials are struck by blow bars or hammers inside the crushing cavity. Mutual collisions occur between materials, between materials and hammers, as well as between materials and liners, which further breaks materials or creates cracks. In addition, vertical shaft sand making machines may be equipped with multi-layer rotors. The gap between each rotor layer and liner varies. Materials undergo repeated crushing multiple times when passing through multi-layer rotors to achieve finer crushing results. Finally, crushed materials enter the conical rotor chamber. Through stamping and extrusion, cracked ores are further crushed.
Wide application: manufactured sand production lines; sand and aggregate production lines; expressway construction; high-speed railway engineering; water conservancy and hydropower projects; commercial concrete industry; construction waste recycling treatment. It can supply high-quality sand and gravel aggregates with excellent particle shape and reasonable gradation for large-scale engineering projects.
