Detailed Process of Construction Waste Treatment

Based on the current technological level, the process for construction waste treatment mainly consists of several key stages: preprocessing, crushing, screening and dust removal, washing, etc. 1. Preprocessing Hydraulic hammers are generally used in preprocessing to reduce oversized blocks (this step is optional). Magnetic separators are applied to remove steel bars to prevent damage to conveyor belts. Other impurities such as non-metallic blocks, wood, paper scraps and other packaging materials are sorted out at the same time. 2. Crushing Materials after preprocessing are ready for crushing. Single-stage or two-stage crushing can be configured according to process requirements. The feed material is conveyed to a jaw crusher for primary crushing, then transported to an impact crusher or cone crusher for secondary crushing. A vibrating screen is used for screening afterwards. Materials meeting specifications proceed to the next stage, while non-compliant materials are sent back to the crusher inlet for re-crushing, forming a closed-circuit cycle. 3. Screening and Dust Removal Fans and air ducts are installed at crushers, vibrating screens and other dust-generating points. Dust is drawn by fans into enclosed air ducts. Water spray nozzles are fitted to atomize water for dust suppression. Repeated spraying thoroughly removes dust to build an eco-friendly production plant. 4. Washing Materials that meet particle size requirements after crushing and screening are cleaned by wheel sand washers or spiral sand washers. Coarse materials are discharged from the bottom by spiral shafts. The remaining materials flow over into sedimentation tanks, where fine aggregates, mud and organic matter settle. Clear classification separates different grades of recycled sand and gravel aggregates for various recycled aggregate plants.
